Position Overview
Insulet Corporation is looking for an experienced and motivated Director to join our growing Corporate FP&A team. This role will provide financial leadership to lead and oversee critical financial initiatives and program reporting across the organization. This role will be responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, ensuring financial rigor in budget to actuals, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial planning, resource allocations, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
Program Reporting: Lead the execution and governance of program reporting, including delivery of financial and resource KPIs and ensuring alignment between Product, Technology and Portfolio teams.
Strategic Planning: Partner with Portfolio and to develop long-term financial strategies, forecasts, and resource planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Product, Technology, and Portfolio to ensure financial programs are integrated and aligned with business objectives.
Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and dashboards to track program performance, financial impact, and risk mitigation.
Change Management: Drive process improvements and change initiatives that enhance financial efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present executive-level updates, business cases, and financial analyses to senior leadership and board members.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure all programs adhere to internal controls, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. In addition to creating and managing policies and procedures around time tracking and reporting.
Education And Experience
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. MBA or CPA is a plus.
10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a program or project leadership role
Strong understanding of corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to implement and learn new accounting & reporting tools.
Proven ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, SAC) and advanced Excel/Power BI skills
Experience with Resource Planning and Business Performance Management tools required
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Strong communication, presence, and relationship building skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operational goals.
Analytical thinker with strong business acumen, ability to summarize complex financial data into clear and concise recommendations for strategic decision support
Excellent MS Excel and financial modeling skills are required
Able to synthesize and analyze large quantities of data to create useful information and concise analyses.
Able to effectively manage projects; results oriented and able to roll-up the sleeves in order to accomplish necessary tasks.
Able to work in a fast pace, high-growth environment.
Has highest standards of integrity reflected in all external and internal communications.
Self-motivated, high energy, respectful, honest, hard-working and loyal team.
Physical Requirements
General office environment, may sit for long periods of time.
May require 10-15% travel
NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week.
