We are seeking a Director, Finance Technology – Tax Lead to drive strategy, design, and execution of tax technology across PayPal’s global finance systems. This role will deliver scalable, compliant SAP and adjacent solutions, enabling automation, accurate reporting, and regulatory alignment. You will partner with Tax, Finance, and Engineering to lead Merchant Tax, Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing, Tax Accounting, 1099s, and e-invoicing.
Responsibilities Develops operational and strategic objectives and plans for business processes using information technology knowledge and extensive expertise across multiple areas of business
Leads the largest cross-functional and cross-organizational enterprise systems teams focused on business transformation across PayPal
Develops and articulates a clear strategic and technological process based on industry-leading knowledge and understanding of business
Supports and mentors less-experienced roles to provide an example of innovation, excellence, and day-to-day learning
Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years management experience

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $169,500 to $291,500.
