Role Overview Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic and financial partnership to EA's Leadership team. You will engage with partners to understand our broad strategy, provide strategic decision support, and deliver insights to guide EA's performance. This role is in a hybrid model defined as 3 days or more in office.
Position Details The Finance Director will lead business support for our Lifestyle group, including The Sims, Skate, and future pipeline initiatives. You will manage consolidated reporting, quarterly targets, and submission processes for all aspects of the Lifestyle group. Supported by a team of 4, you will report to the SVP of Finance for EA Entertainment Group.
You Will Contribute to Our Success Partner with senior leaders across the Lifestyle group including Group GMs, Head of Operations, Studio GMs, and their leadership teams to support financial elements of the Lifestyle group’s strategy.
Connect critical partners on financial topics to guide decisions with insightful analysis.
Deliver core FP&A responsibilities as a key partner to the group, studio, and game teams.
Improve processes across all teams to deliver efficiencies, remove obstacles, and identify opportunities.
What You\'ll Do Provide strategic advice and partnership to Lifestyle group leadership and all supporting studios
Manage the holistic health of the group, including full P&L responsibility
Lead the financial planning process, including long-range, annual, and quarterly planning cycles
Establish and track performance measures across major offerings and projects (base games, expansions, seasonal content, live services)
Provide ad-hoc financial and decision support analysis to partners
Provide guidance on core finance processes, building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables
Manage the Lifestyle group FP&A team and collaborate with FP&A partners across commercial, marketing, and corporate functions
Attract and mentor a team of 4 that provides insight and value to their partners
Influence, motivate, and collaborate with partners and team
Create a center of excellence and implement best practices, processes, and standards
Experiences & Technical Skills Bachelor\'s degree required
Minimum 8–10 years\' experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Proficiency in accounting and GAAP knowledge
Excellent MS Excel (advanced functions) and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Anaplan and Power BI or similar planning systems
Experience with people management and mentoring teams

British Columbia (e.g., Vancouver vs. Victoria) $157,100 - $216,800 CAD
California (e.g., Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) $178,200 - $269,500 USD
Washington (e.g., Seattle vs. Spokane) $171,200 - $228,000 USD
