What this job involves: The Director, Facilities Operations Specialist, serves as a strategic support partner to our client's facility team. This role combines subject matter expertise in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) with hands-on operational enhancement leadership, working collaboratively to identify opportunities, build strong relationships and develop solutions that drive operational excellence.

Primary Role Definition: Strategic Support Partner: Works directly within the client's facility team and our JLL team as a dedicated resource

Subject Matter Expert: Provides specialized facility management expertise

Process Enhancement Lead: Focuses on identifying improvement opportunities and developing actionable solutions

Cross-Functional Liaison: Bridges client operations with JLL's broader facility support and expertise through collaborative problem-solving and program improvement

Focus areas: Operational Assessment & Enhancement Conduct regular on-site operational audits across facility functions

Analyze current processes, workflows, and resource allocation

Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities

Develop operational improvement plans with actionable insights

Strategic Project Support Collaborate on special initiatives and process improvement projects

Support the client team with complex challenges and decision-making

Lead change management initiatives alongside existing teams

Knowledge Integration Bring JLL's facility best practices to client operations

Facilitate knowledge sharing between client teams and JLL regional teams

Provide industry benchmarking and performance comparisons

Alignment & Communication Establish governance processes and roadmaps with program milestones

Provide transparent, regular progress reporting and metrics communication to client leadership teams

Serve as an accountable partner committed to delivering measurable results and maintaining open dialogue on all initiatives

Team Development & Mentorship Provide mentorship and coaching to elevate performance

Foster collaborative relationships that drive mutual success

This role focuses on partnership and integration rather than traditional oversight, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving to achieve operational excellence together with the client team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field

10+ years of experience in Integrated Facilities Management

7+ years of experience with healthcare quality and compliance standards

Proven track record of leading large-scale IFM programs for major

healthcare

systems

Strong financial acumen and experience in managing complex budgets

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred:

Strategic vision and ability to develop long-term IFM strategies

Deep understanding of client needs and ability to build lasting relationships

Skilled in building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams

Consistently delivers exceptional results in IFM operations and client satisfaction

Innovation mindset and continuous improvement approach

Adept at leading teams through evolving IFM landscapes

In-depth knowledge of IFM trends, technologies, and best practices

Estimated compensation for this position: 190,000.00 - 240,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
