Job Description The Director, Event Management will report to the SVP, Client Leadership. You will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of client-facing programs and staffing operations. You will be a trusted advisor, you will ensure that all marketing and operational needs are met with, creativity, and efficiency. You will manage teams, improve client growth through relevant insights, and maintain service delivery and compliance. Location: Chicago, IL - This is a hybrid remote/in-office role. ResponsibilitiesStrategic Client Leadership Be a primary contact and trusted advisor for clients, delivering tailored event and staffing solutions. Understand and promote client goals, translating insights into relevant strategies that increase growth. Lead the development of service propositions, ensuring end-to-end management of client programs. Identify and maximize cross-sell and upsell opportunities to expand client engagement and revenue. Program & Staffing Oversight Oversee all staffing and recruitment processes, including timelines, schedules, and hiring strategies. Collaborate with Regional Leads and Operations Managers to recruit, train, and deploy Regional and Field Managers. Ensure understanding of training, travel logistics, and program execution across all staffing levels. Monitor program budgets, recommend market expansions, and ensure financial understanding of client goals. Operational Excellence & Compliance Lead weekly calls with our teams, production, and regional partners to ensure program agreement. Attend training sessions to address MKTG/dentsu-related inquiries and strengthen program standards. Conduct audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate employment records and support performance reviews in collaboration with HR and Payroll. Team Development & Culture Manage and motivate teams to align with client culture and program goals. Foster a positive team environment through training, communication, and leadership. Deliver important messaging and program updates in partnership with Operations and Production teams. Refine staffing and recruitment processes to enhance efficiency. Compensation & Benefits Salary: The annual salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500. Placement within the salary range is based on relevant experience, knowledge, and other factors permitted by law.
