Position Title: Director, Demand Generation

Location: Kirkland, WA

Role overview: The Director of Demand Generation leads the strategy and execution of data-driven marketing programs to fuel Ziply Fiber's residential growth across all sales channels (e-commerce, call center, and direct sales). The role oversees a team responsible for inbound and outbound campaigns—including paid media, direct mail, retargeting, outbound calling, and local events—focused on lead nurturing, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. It requires a strong focus on cost per gross addition (CPGA) and Net Promoter Score (NPS), collaboration with Brand, Product, Sales, and Customer Experience, and a results-oriented mindset in a fast-growing brand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of demand generation professionals, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to support team development and performance.
  • Own and drive Ziply Fiber's demand generation marketing strategies, campaigns, and P&L with accountability for sales, revenue per customer, cost per sale and sales NPS across online and offline channels.
  • Manage and optimize the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across paid and organic channels to maximize ROI and sales impact.
  • Take accountability for both strategic and day-to-day management of the paid media program to achieve budgeted sales and growth targets.
  • Analyze cross-platform data, customer behavior, and sales journeys to improve the acquisition experience and inform prioritization of impactful initiatives that accelerate growth.
  • Oversee go-to-market plans for products, updates, and promotions to align marketing, sales, and support for a consistent prospect and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with teams on location-specific sales events, partnerships, and channel tactics to drive awareness and sales.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence to develop robust reporting that meets evolving Marketing needs.
  • Drive cross-team alignment through regular reporting on funnel health, marketing-sourced sales, activations, and overall demand generation performance.
  • Ensure email and customer referral programs engage and convert prospects at different funnel stages.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to optimize lead generation and improve conversion rates for inbound, outbound, and door-to-door channels.
  • Drive use of the CDP to increase personalization and reduce friction in the purchase process.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making within the Demand Generation Marketing team.
  • Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; higher degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years in demand or lead generation marketing with a track record of measurable results.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of online and offline demand generation best practices, ecommerce, digital marketing tools, paid media, tracking standards, attribution methods, and marketing operations in B2C and B2B environments.
  • Subscription or recurring revenue experience (e.g., Telecom) is a plus.
  • Growth and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for testing, iterating, and scaling marketing programs.
  • Intellectually curious, proactive, and able to drive strategic and data-backed solutions.
  • Strong team management, leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
  • Results-driven strategic thinker with the ability to dissect complex problems and derive actionable insights.
