JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Cybersecurity and Compliance is responsible for leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs and compliance initiatives to protect data, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory adherence. Develops robust security frameworks to safeguard organizational assets and align with evolving business priorities and cyber threats.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical job responsibilities of the Director Cybersecurity & Compliance include:
Develop enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies to proactively identify risks and create contingency plans for critical systems and sensitive data.
Architect and implement scalable security systems to ensure resilience, adaptability, and alignment with future business needs.
Oversee security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management to protect organizational assets.
Drive organization-wide training and awareness programs to reduce human-related security vulnerabilities and promote compliance.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to address compliance gaps and strengthen risk management frameworks.
Partner with Legal and Compliance Teams to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and mitigate legal risks.
Work with Finance Teams to prioritize investments in cybersecurity tools and assess ROI for security initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Expertise in developing and implementing enterprise-wide security.
Proven ability to lead threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management initiatives.
Strong collaboration to align cybersecurity strategies with org priorities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses understanding of digital concepts to create basic digital tools.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in field such as computer science, information technology, network security or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or IT risk management.
Ideal position location is Fort Worth, Denver or Houston.
Occasional travel, up to 10%, may be required.
SALARY
$161,000 to $298,000
