Position Summary: Mariani Premier Group is hiring a Director of Corporate Accounting. The Director, Corporate Accounting will support the Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer in managing various accounting functions to ensure the continuity of financial operations throughout Mariani Premier Group. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective leadership qualities, with a focus on driving operational and financial excellence.
Job Duties And Responsibilities:
- Oversee the consolidated financial reporting process, coordinating with divisional and partner company accounting teams to ensure completeness and timeliness.
- Support the implementation of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with GAAP and reinforcing internal controls across the organization.
- Own and manage the intercompany accounting process, including enterprise-level cost allocations and balance reconciliation.
- Take ownership of the annual audit process by helping to manage auditor questions and data requests both at Mariani Premier Group (Corporate) and the partner companies.
- Promote consistency in accounting practices across the organization by standardizing processes and aligning partner companies with corporate policies.
- Supervise the accounting for corporate functions, including payroll, benefits, insurance, and other enterprise-level activities.
- Provide oversight of the Mariani Premier Group accounts payable function.
- Assist in preparing budget vs. actual analysis and tracking budget variances.
- Partner closely with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other functional areas to support cross-functional initiatives and enterprise-wide goals.
- Assist with software implementations such as Oracle NetSuite.
- Take an active role in establishing a shared services model for accounting for fixed assets and lease accounting, including working to help deploy the NetAsset and NetLease add-ons to Oracle NetSuite.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of financial data.
- Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and development opportunities to ensure high-quality work and team engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 6-10 years of experience in a professional Accounting and Finance role (CPA certification is a plus but not required).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in managing financial statement audits and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, including advanced data management functions.
- Hands-on experience with General Ledger platforms
- Ability to lead and mentor supporting team members.

$165,000 - $200,000
