Summary
This role is designed for a seasoned sales professional adept at identifying and capitalizing on new client acquisition opportunities while also delivering top-tier consulting services. The Senior Sales Director plays a critical role in achieving business objectives, enhancing team outcomes, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional experience to the client during the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Business Development: Craft and implement aggressive sales strategies to pinpoint, engage, and secure new business opportunities.
Business Development: Personally creating opportunities for qualified hospital and health system leadership who have the ability to positively influence, or make the decision to purchase GEHC Command Center programs.
Strategic Influence: As requested, give input to help shape the business strategy.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings. Interpret internal and external business dynamics, advocating best practices to refine products, processes, or services.
Decision Making: Harness sophisticated judgment skills to navigate complex tasks or challenges in areas like operational management, product management, and consulting. Evaluate the quality and relevance of information, engage in critical questioning, and utilize a range of sources to arrive at well-informed decisions.
Lead & Collaborate: Articulate complex concepts effectively and steer colleagues and potential clients to consider alternative perspectives.
Required Qualifications:
A Master's degree from an accredited university with 6 years experience or Bachelors degree college with 8 years experience in Services & Consulting
Direct experience in hospital operations for at least a significant portion of their time with health systems
Basic Knowledge of health IT systems, EMR, etc.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Strong connection to the healthcare community with contacts to other healthcare professionals across the United States.
