Our Philadelphia based client is an independent, full-service marketing agency that brings brand, interactive and customer experiences to life. Services provided include integrated marketing, content marketing, communications, social media, public relations, and hospitality to name a few. Clients served are business to business and business to consumer. At this time our client is searching for an experienced Director of Business Development who will drive revenue growth for the agency. RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role the seasoned sales professional will be responsible for the sales strategy for the agency to include all activities related to the management and coordination of attracting new clients and building a new business pipeline, pitch and close new business opportunities. * Develops new business strategy with support from agency leadership. * Develops client proposals and RFP responses, pitches andpresentations. * Builds and maintains relationships with key prospects. * Actively manages sales pipeline. * Represents and promotes the agency at industry functions. REQUIREMENTS: * 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client services within a creative, advertising, or marketing agency. * Strong relationship building skills. * Record of success in winning accounts and attaining revenue goals. * Impressive presentation and negotiation skills. * Established strong industry relationships and contacts.
