Director, Business Development, Wealth Management Solutions - West Coast / SW Region Fully Remote San Francisco Full-time Description Monroe Capital is seeking an investment Business Development professional to support and promote the firm's Private Credit offerings within the Wealth Management Channel. The individual will develop and maintain relationships within the independent RIA and family offices community. This role will also contribute to the Marketing and Investor Relations program at Monroe Capital, involving special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned. This role requires significant travel and is based remotely in the West Coast / South West Region. Primary Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with Financial Advisors, educating them on Monroe's private credit offerings, capturing sales opportunities, and increasing market share of client allocations. Conduct meetings, presentations, and conference calls, delivering high-quality product knowledge and building rapport with investors. Attend industry events and conferences as appropriate. Understand Monroe's platforms and offerings thoroughly. Stay informed about industry and market trends. Use management reporting tools to track sales and client activity. Position Requirements: 5-10 years of external Business Development experience in the advisor-sold space, with extensive connections in the independent wealth management channel, such as RIAs and independent broker-dealers. Proven success in fundraising within the Wealth Management Channel. Established relationships within various wealth management channels. Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field (preferred). Series 7 and 63 licenses. Preferred Skills / Experience: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong desire to succeed and entrepreneurial spirit. Well-organized, proactive, energetic, creative, and thoughtful. Strong time management and responsiveness. Ability to work effectively within a team. Experience in alternative asset management, such as private credit, private equity, or hedge funds. CFA or CAIA designation preferred. Compensation: The expected base salary range is $225,000, with actual compensation depending on skills, experience, and qualifications. The total package may include discretionary bonuses and benefits such as medical, financial, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave. Details will be provided upon offer. This is an at-will employment position, with the firm reserving the right to modify compensation at any time.
