Director, Brand & Marketing Communications Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Heartflow is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Brand & Marketing Communications to be the lead storyteller for the Heartflow brand. This critical role is responsible for continuing to shape our narrative and activate across all touchpoints. The Opportunity The Director of Brand & Marketing Communications will drive top-of-funnel activity and create a brand halo for Heartflow, communicating our complex, life-saving technology to two distinct and vital audiences: physicians and the healthcare systems they work with (B2B) and patients themselves (DTP). Responsibilities Brand Stewardship & Activation: Activate the Heartflow brand across all marketing communications and target audiences. Strategic Messaging & Content: Translate complex technology, scientific data, and medical concepts into clear, compelling messaging. Integrated Campaign Leadership: Manage integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish. Social & Community Engagement: Oversee our social media strategy and activation to grow brand relevance, foster engagement, and cultivate communities. Cross-Functional Leadership: Develop strong relationships and clear working processes with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Product, Clinical, and other teams. Measurement & Optimization: Formalize our approach to measurement for brand health, creative performance, and social media. Agency & Partner Management: Manage our external strategic communications consultants and creative agencies. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related field, preferably business or science. 10+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, advertising, and strategy roles within the life sciences. Deep, demonstrated experience developing and executing communications strategies for both B2B and Direct-to-Patient audiences. A data-driven mindset, with a proven track record of using quantitative and qualitative insights to inform strategy. A portfolio of groundbreaking creative initiatives that are notable for their innovation, originality, and effectiveness.
