What Youll Do Develop & Execute Brand Strategy: Lead the brand vision, positioning, and messaging, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities. Lead Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Oversee cross-channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition across digital, traditional, and experiential touchpoints. Strengthen Brand Identity: Ensure consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling across all customer and partner touchpoints. Drive Thought Leadership & Market Influence: Position the company as an industry innovator through content, public relations, and executive visibility strategies. Enhance Customer Experience: Collaborate with product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure the brand experience is seamless, engaging, and customer-focussed. Leverage Data & Insights: Use analytics and customer insights to inform marketing strategies, optimize performance, and measure brand health. A high level of adaptability and resilience, with the ability to manage shifting priorities and executive-level requests while maintaining strategic focus. Lead & Inspire a High-Performing Team: Build, mentor, and manage a team of brand marketers. What You Bring The ideal Candidate will have: Experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record in the financial services, fintech, auto, or business-facing industries. A strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into impactful brand initiatives. A high level of adaptability and resilience, with the ability to manage priorities and executive-level requests while maintaining strategic focus. Expertise in multi-channel marketingfrom digital, social, and content marketing to traditional and experiential activations. A data-driven approach with experience leveraging analytics, customer insights, and market research to drive decisions. Leadership skills that inspireexperience managing teams, fostering innovation, and collaborating cross-functionally at all levels. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with internal creative teams and agencies to execute high-quality campaigns. B2B marketing experience preferred, particularly in building brand equity and driving customer and partner engagement. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Plano, TX: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Brand Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
