Acuity Knowledge Partners is looking for a seasoned sales hunter, based in New York City, to sell consulting & outsourcing services to North American Banking & Capital Markets organizations. The candidate must possess a strong hunting and sales acumen with a good track-record of originating, qualifying and closing deals in the banking sector.
Prior experience having sold into the North American banking institutions is required as is familiarity with outsourcing/offshoring.
To be successful in this role the candidate should have good knowledge of the banking and financial services landscape, be a strong sales hunter and develop strong client relationships.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and strong negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to build and establish long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run high-quality enterprise sales cycles within Banking, including:
Identify and initiate new sales opportunities by prospecting for new clients for Commercial Banking business unit.
Grow existing client relationships into strategic partnerships.
Leverage existing client relationships and networks to generate commercial interest.
Generating demand and qualifying clients and prospects.
Create compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs.
Negotiate and close complex agreements.
Own quota to be attained by selling to new client accounts and by leveraging one’s earlier relationships for selling consulting & outsourcing services in areas of
Investment banking
Commercial lending origination, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, credit risk, loan operations & treasury management
Sell-side investment research and research operations
Middle office operations
CFO support & back office operations
Pitch to the front office COO/Head of Corporate Banking/Chief Credit officer/Chief Risk Officer/Chief Compliance officer/ the CXO level to build a broad vision of strategic long-term partnership.
Leverage network to make senior connections at regional and global banks. Negotiating and Closing complex agreements and provide accurate forecasts and pipeline information to management.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Graduate degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, or a related area.
Hunter DNA: ambition, sense of urgency, confidence, perseverance, optimism, resilience, and the ability and desire to influence others.
Experience and deep understanding of strategic transformation initiatives in banking in helping C-level executives with run-the-bank and change-the-bank initiatives.
Profound knowledge of the KPO/BPO industry concerning strategic transformation initiatives relevant to the banking sector.
Understanding the different stages of running strategic enterprise-level sales cycles and the ability to move from one stage to another.
Ability to influence key decision-makers during the life cycle of the sales process.
Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills, and outstanding client relationship management experience
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
Experience in leading sales efforts, proposal development, and closing deals.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail
