This role will be part of a team accountable for assisting management with developing and implementing controls related to new products, operational processes, and regulatory requirements. The team will lead targeted assessments and be prepared to make decisions on the design and/or effectiveness of the related control environment. There will be a strong focus on Alternative Products (e.g., digital assets, credit alternatives, private equity, real assets). Additional responsibilities include assisting the leadership team with the development of executive presentations and producing project status reports. To successfully execute these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess strong controls-building skills and will have a fundamental understanding of the unique challenges related to Alternative Investment strategies. The role will work closely with business partners specifically to assess areas of risk and support the department’s goals. The role requires the ability to work effectively with management, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage work to completion. The individual will be required to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work.
