Your Role:

Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department to ensure quality nutritional services are provided in accordance with current regulations and facility policies

Develop and implement menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs while considering personal preferences and dietary restrictions

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines

Manage dietary staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Monitor food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation to ensure high-quality meals

Maintain accurate records of food inventory, costs, and departmental budgets

Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other departments to meet residents’ special dietary needs

Promote resident satisfaction through positive dining experiences and responsive service

Who We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Dietary Director or in a similar leadership role in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, menu planning, and nutrition in a healthcare environment

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing quality service
