Learn more about Santa Clara Valley Healthcare: https://www.scvh.org/home and follow us on: LinkedIn | www.linkedin.com/company/county-of-santa-clara/ Facebook | www.facebook.com/sccjob Instagram| www.instagram.com/sccjobs/ Newsletter Subscription | Sign Up Responsibilities include: Directly supervises and coordinates activities of assigned departments of the Diagnostic Imaging Division; Assists the Director in developing, documenting, and controlling department budgets; Develops equipment specifications and makes purchase, maintenance, or repair recommendations; Oversees ordering, storing, and distribution of supplies; Resolves service and operational problems; Reviews staff assignments and adjusts for efficiency; Interviews vendor representatives; Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications include: Experience: Certification by the State of California as a Radiological Technologist and four years of responsible experience, including supervisory or administrative roles. Progress toward or attainment of a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, radiologic technology, or related area is desirable. Knowledge of: Supervisory and administrative principles; Hospital organization and practices; Radiographic techniques and equipment; Computed tomography and MRI techniques; Diagnostic imaging principles and equipment; Anatomy and patient positioning; Photography, film processing, and radiation physics. Abilities to: Plan and organize staff work; Work effectively across disciplines; Provide technical supervision; Prepare reports and policies.
