Role Overview: As Design Director, you will spearhead the development and execution of innovative design strategies that define and enhance the brand’s visual identity across multiple platforms including packaging, digital media, retail environments, and print. Your leadership will inspire and guide a talented team of designers while collaborating closely with marketing, product development, and executive teams to deliver cohesive and impactful brand experiences that resonate globally.
Design Director Responsibilities:
Drive creative excellence by leading the design team to produce cutting-edge, on-brand work across all consumer touchpoints.
Mentor and cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and innovation among designers.
Partner with senior leadership to shape and evolve the brand’s creative vision ensuring consistency and market relevance worldwide.
Champion empathetic design approaches that prioritize the customer journey both online and offline.
Oversee the creation of key brand assets including packaging, digital interfaces, retail displays, and experiential designs while staying abreast of industry trends.
Uphold rigorous standards for design quality and brand consistency across all channels.
Work seamlessly with product, marketing, retail, and e-commerce teams to ensure unified design implementation.
Navigate ambiguity with confidence, proactively advancing projects with strong business acumen and communication skills.
Design Director Qualifications:
8+ years of design experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing creative teams.
A compelling portfolio showcasing modern consumer packaged goods branding across diverse mediums such as 3D design, packaging, digital platforms, and print.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketchup, and other relevant design tools.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining high creativity and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills capable of articulating complex design concepts to varied audiences.
Strong knowledge of print production processes, retail design considerations, digital marketing strategies, e-commerce trends, and social media best practices related to branding.
