Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Job Summary: As Demand Planning Director, you will be responsible for driving the Demand Planning function and S&OP Process. You will have a team of 2 direct reports reporting to you. You will work closely with the Sales, MS&P, Project Management, Supply Planning, Sourcing, and Product Marketing teams. You’ll be responsible for analyzing eos product performance at key customers including shipment data, POS, channel inventory, and promotional activity to develop customer-specific forecasts, aggregate demand plan and contribute to eos successfully meeting customer fill rates, in-stock targets and inventory optimization. You are a confident and dynamic leader who is known for your impressive relationship building skills and ability to easily connect with others. You are an exceptional communicator and possess strong excel skills. As a Demand Planning Director, you’re comfortable working independently as well as influencing cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Create overall Demand Planning strategy, in close coordination with sales, finance and marketing teams, according to annual objectives, metrics and KPIs to support functional and company goals. Incorporate point of sale data, customer inventory, promotional calendar, and strong analytics to develop item level demand and replenishment plans. Lead consensus meetings with sales and marketing across all regions. Lead special projects for continuous improvement on behalf of Demand Planning organization. Drive IT improvements and needed automation for the Demand Planning team. Drive sustained “Green” performance in all critical areas of customer scorecard (customer fill rate, in-stock %, inventory, on-time ship) through accurate planning as well as development and execution of item/categories specific strategies. Drive Quarterly SKU Rationalization effort with Brand, Sales & Finance to ensure discipline for needed SKU maintenance. Meet regularly with representatives of customer supply chain and buying organizations to review forecasts and supply chain performance and collaborate on upcoming promotions and needed feasibility. Support new product launch activity through the development of demand plans for initial inventory as well as scenarios for replenishment. Optimize inventory levels and tracking to meet customer, operational, product and financial/accounting needs. Problem solve and escalate supply and forecast issues. Work with different regions to create a global demand plan to share with supply planning team, to drive S & OP and optimize inventory allocation. Lead and improve S&OP process. As the S&OP expert of your team, you methodically enhanced the new process and created continuous improvement. Requirements: 10+ years’ experience in demand planning and forecasting (CPG preferred) 4+ years’ experience in planning, supply chain, or a related field Strong quantitative background (corporate supply chain planning, consulting, finance, etc.) Ability to take ownership of initiatives and work proactively to accomplish tasks/projects on tight timelines Ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment Experience in a supply chain role at a CPG Manufacturer supporting a major retail account (a plus) Amazon, Target, Whole Foods, CVS or retail e-commerce experience (a plus) Company Summary: eos Products is an iconic global beauty brand that has sold nearly a billion lip balms worldwide.
