About the Role:
Looking for a passionate dance professional who believes in the transformative power of movement. Do you dream of building something extraordinary from the ground up? Black Diamond Kids Center is seeking a visionary Dance Director to revive a revolutionize our dance program - and we want you to lead this exciting journey!
Responsibilities:
Provide instruction and guidance to students during classes
Ensure safety and proper technique during all dance activities
Monitor and track the progress of each gymnast
Communicate with parents about students progress
Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum
Requirements:
Significant training and experience in multiple dance styles (ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, etc.)
Ability to create age-appropriate curriculum and progressive skill-building programs
Knowledge of proper dance technique, injury prevention and child safety protocols
Proven experience working with children and youth in dance instruction
Experience or strong desire to lead, mentor and inspiration a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
High Energy with a desire to positively impact kids and families
Morning, afternoon and weekend availability required
