Job Description

The Culinary Services Director at Woodbridge Terrace hires, leads and inspires an engaged team cooking and serving thoughtfully designed seasonal menus and cuisine across multiple dining venues, delivered with excellent service while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

What will I do every day?

• Create an enriching and memorable dining experience
• Creatively design menu items
• Manage inventory control, functionality and dining/kitchen cleanliness
• Interview, hire, train, manage and retain highly effective associates
• Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing to ensure resident satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Achieve balanced results in associate engagement, resident loyalty, and financial performance

What will I need to be successful in this role?

• A passion for excellence
• Be a progressive and creative thinker
• Strong leadership and managerial
• Proficient in budgeting and scheduling
• Proficient with event planning
• Culinary Degree
• Minimum 5 years' related experience required
• Experience working in Senior Living is a plus
• Hotel or Country Club experience a plus
• Food and Beverage Manager experience
• Ability to work on call and as a cook as needed

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

• ServSafe certification required
