We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead and elevate our brand visuals across campaigns, product launches, retail activations, and digital channels.

Location: New York (Hybrid) • Reports to: CEO • Salary: $130,000- $140,000 Role Overview The Creative Director will own the brand’s creative vision and lead all aspects of imagery, product photography, brand activations, model shoots, and visual storytelling. This leader will translate brand strategy into bold, impactful creative that resonates with our community while maintaining consistency across channels (e-commerce, social, retail, and experiential). You will manage concept development, oversee execution of shoots and activations, and collaborate closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Operations to ensure all creative supports both storytelling and revenue-driving objectives. Key Responsibilities Creative Strategy & Vision Define and evolve Bask & Lather’s visual identity across campaigns, packaging, e-commerce, social media, events, and retail. Develop seasonal creative concepts for product launches, partnerships, and brand activations. Content & Production Leadership Direct photoshoots, model shoots, and video campaigns (from mood boards to final assets). Lead relationships with external creatives: photographers, stylists, makeup artists, videographers, and set designers. Ensure consistent execution of creative briefs across all channels. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing on go-to-market campaigns, ensuring visuals drive engagement and conversion. Work with E-Commerce on conversion-focused product imagery and merchandising assets. Collaborate with Events/Partnerships to design high-impact brand activations. Team & Process Development Build and mentor an in-house creative team (designers, producers, editors). Establish scalable creative workflows, timelines, and production budgets. Brand Elevation Keep a pulse on industry trends and competitor campaigns. Innovate with culturally relevant and trend-forward creative that sets Bask & Lather apart. Qualifications 7–10+ years of creative leadership in beauty, textured-haircare, CPG, fashion, or lifestyle brands. MUST HAVE proven experience leading creative direction that speaks to and resonates with the textured haircare community. Strong portfolio of campaign, e-commerce, and experiential work. Hands-on experience directing shoots, managing vendors, and producing content at scale. Proven ability to balance creative excellence with business goals. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience managing creative budgets and timelines. A deep understanding of multicultural audiences, textured haircare, and the beauty industry is strongly preferred.
