We're excited to expand our team with a Design Director who will play a pivotal role in shaping Cozy Earth's aesthetic, driving innovation, and ensuring our collections remain fresh, relevant, and commercially successful. This role requires a well-rounded designer with a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of apparel design, fabrication, and fit. The ideal candidate has experience building and scaling premium lifestyle brands and excels at communicating a clear, cohesive design vision. This is a unique opportunity to blend creativity with strategy, influencing the future of Cozy Earth's apparel line and elevating our brand in new and exciting ways.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the VP of Product & Design to shape and execute Cozy Earth's design vision and strategy. Lead and inspire the design team in creating innovative, high-quality lifestyle apparel and home products that align with the brand's aesthetic and values. Develop seasonal collections that are trend-forward, cohesive, and commercially successful. Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to final product, ensuring design excellence across all categories. Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities for brand growth and innovation. Maintain a deep understanding of fabrications, fits, and finishes to enhance product quality and differentiation. Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and marketing, to ensure design integrity is maintained through production and brand storytelling. Present design concepts and collection strategies to leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in apparel design, with at least 5 years at a major lifestyle brand. Strong background in apparel design, with a well-rounded portfolio spanning multiple categories. Experience communicating and executing a clear design vision that drives brand growth. Strong knowledge of apparel construction, fabrics, and industry trends. Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on in the design process. Excellent leadership, collaboration, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant design tools.
