Base pay range
$170,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr
Job Summary We are seeking a Corporate Strategic Finance Director to shape the company’s long-term global financial strategy and market posture. This role focuses on capital allocation, capital structure, M&A, capital raising, and investor relations to ensure the company’s growth and market positioning. You will manage financial modeling, scenario planning, and capital structure analysis, and support the CEO and the Director of Investment & Strategy in capital raising by building investor-grade models, preparing materials, and aligning strategy and projections with investor expectations.
Responsibilities Develop the multi-year financial strategy and investment framework (hurdle rates, ROI/ROIC, payback).
Prioritize growth bets and balance growth, profitability, and cash runway.
Design and maintain the optimal capital structure (debt vs. equity mix, leverage targets).
Oversee liquidity planning, cash/treasury policies, and working-capital efficiency.
Partner closely with the CEO and the Director of Investment & Strategy to plan and execute financing processes (equity/debt), including timeline, workstreams, and coordination with bankers, counsel, and auditors.
Build robust 3-statement and cohort/unit-economics models with scenarios and sensitivities.
Prepare investor materials (teasers, CIMs, decks, data room), manage diligence Q&A, and coordinate with bankers, counsel, and auditors.
Ensure projections, narratives, and KPIs align with investor expectations and market comps.
Craft the investor narrative, KPIs, and reporting cadence (monthly/quarterly updates, investor materials).
Support the CEO and the Director of Investment & Strategy in investor meetings, roadshows, and follow-ups, maintaining a high-credibility IR cadence.
Track peer benchmarks, valuation drivers, and market sentiment to inform messaging and timing.
Source and evaluate opportunities; lead valuation (DCF, comps, precedent), synergy modeling, and deal structuring support.
Drive diligence, integration planning, and post-close performance tracking.
Own the long-range plan; run scenario and stress tests (base/downside/upside).
Partner with Controller to connect strategy to AOP/forecast and translate insights into actions.
Prepare investor materials and recommendations; maintain finance policies and a clear governance framework.
Partner with cross-functional leaders (GTM, Product, Ops, People) to translate strategy into actionable plans.
Qualifications 8–12+ years in Strategic Finance/Corporate Development/Investment Banking/Private Equity/Capital Markets/Investor Relations within high-growth environments.
Demonstrated experience in capital raises (debt/equity) and M&A execution.
Expert financial modeling and valuation; advanced scenario planning and capital structure analysis.
Executive-level communication; credible with investors, lenders, and the Board.
Advanced Excel; Word, PowerPoint, familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker/Power BI) and ERP (e.g., NetSuite/QuickBooks/Intacct).
BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.
