If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below. Freedom Healthcare is hiring a Corporate Business Development Director (BDD) . This role is responsible for the implementation of business and marketing plans for the multi-state Behavioral Division and leading new startup development in 2025. The Director will work closely with the President to establish strategic marketing plans, train, guide, and manage the Service Development Plan by State Locations.
The Service Development Director will analyze information from facility reports and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports reflecting the marketing activity of the department. They will oversee onboarding and training of facility Service Development Directors and Representatives, assist facility CEOs/Program Administrators in managing team performance, and work with the President on growth and new service development across a 5-state region.
This role involves maintaining statistical and community development data to meet the needs of patients and referral sources. It requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and relationship development both internally and externally.
The Corporate Business Development Director can work remotely; however, travel is expected to be 80% or more to ensure program performance.
The ideal candidate has at least twelve consecutive months of experience in healthcare marketing or business development with a proven success record. Experience leading a sales team with measurable results is required.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business development, or a related field is preferred but relevant healthcare experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Candidates must have proven marketing, sales, customer service, and/or clinical education experience. Familiarity with mobile tools, applications, and technology is essential, as this is a data-driven role requiring excellent computer skills.
Understanding of the behavioral health patient population, common terms, and diagnoses is necessary. Knowledge of healthcare statutes, regulatory, and compliance requirements is also required.
Additionally, the candidate should be a team builder and supporter.
