Overview Continuous Improvement (DBS) Director - Food and Beverage, Sales and Marketing is a leadership role within Pall Corporation, a Danaher company. This position will be onsite in Port Washington, NY or Cortland, NY and leads all DBS activities in the commercial functions of the business, focusing on sales and marketing performance, innovation, and growth.
Learn about the Danaher Business System (DBS) which makes everything possible. The DBS Leader (DBSL) for Pall’s Food and Beverage Business Unit will drive DBS through coaching, training, analytics, and improved performance reporting to enable process improvements and sustain results.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Provide business thought leadership to the Food and Beverage (F&B) L1 team to drive change and solve critical customer and business problems.
Drive process improvement and cross-functional communication by fostering a DBS mindset at all levels and demonstrating value through engagement and problem solving.
Cultivate relationships with key DBS leaders across Danaher to share strategies and leverage best practices.
Facilitate business planning and strategy development; define, develop, and deliver F&B’s DBS strategy and KPIs, aligning initiatives with business priorities.
Drive DBS immersion for leaders, mentor DBSLs, identify and develop DBS talent, build a talent pipeline, and facilitate certification processes.
Establish and implement Obeya/Daily Management/Growth rooms for effective collaboration; support and coach the Funnel Management process.
Guide and sustain the Kaizen process, provide training on DBS tools, and conduct reviews to assess implementation success.
Responsibilities and Activities Lead DBS activities in commercial functions to improve performance, innovation, and growth.
Coach senior leaders and associates in DBS methods using analytics and improved reporting.
Engage with business and functional leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and drive results.
Education / Key Competencies Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; minimum 7 years of experience preferred.
Experience in regional or global leadership roles, ideally in industrial/manufacturing businesses with complex global environments.
Demonstrated DBS or similar lean business system experience.
Effective coaching and talent development; ability to build cross-functional problem-solving teams.
Experimentation mindset with ability to manage risk and drive learning.
Strong verbal and written communication, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to lead through significant change while maintaining momentum; alignment with Pall’s mission and values.

Compensation & Benefits Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, offers comprehensive benefits. Salary range: $185,000.00 - $200,000.00; eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Includes paid time off and medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other programs. The final compensation is at the Company’s discretion and subject to modification in the future.
