Job Overview Handa Developers Group is seeking an experienced and visionary Construction Director to oversee residential real estate development and construction projects. In this leadership role, you'll manage large-scale residential developments from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional quality, adherence to timelines, and budgetary control. The Construction Director will be pivotal in building and leading a team while maintaining a friendly, collaborative work culture that values every team member.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all phases of residential construction projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards.- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.- Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting, and regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to refine designs and resolve issues.- Monitor project performance, implement improvements, and proactively manage risks.- Oversee vendor and subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and performance.- Provide leadership and professional development opportunities to construction teams.- Leverage technology and tools to streamline construction processes and reporting.- Maintain clear and consistent communication with leadership, stakeholders, and clients.

Qualifications- Active CSLB Class B License highly preferred (or willingness to obtain).- 10+ years of experience in new single-family home development and construction.- Proven leadership experience managing multiple large-scale residential projects simultaneously.- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.- Proficiency with construction management software and technology tools.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to team collaboration.
