A healthcare facility with a 250-bed hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis in Salinas, CA. Responsibilities:

• Manage and review medication therapy to ensure the best patient outcomes in a hospital setting
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to provide clinical pharmacy support
• Oversee medication dispensing and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis for patient medication records and distribution
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with staff and patients

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Full-time availability with a proactive and positive approach
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working variable days and afternoons following a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule
