As a Clinical Operations Director, you will play a critical role in supervising and developing Clinical Directors across multiple medical centers. This position not only encompasses leadership and accountability for clinical performance but also allows you to be actively involved in patient care as a primary care physician, with a unique balance between leadership and clinical responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the performance of Medical Directors within your assigned market, ensuring exceptional clinical outcomes. Mentor and coach Clinical Directors to foster development and achieve outstanding performance. Create a collaborative and patient-centered culture that aligns with our core values and service standards. Train new practitioners and support clinical talent development within your centers. Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for PCP and specialist roles. Establish and maintain strong relationships with payers, specialists, and community partners. Monitor market culture and address workplace concerns proactively. Provide hands-on clinical care to your patient panel while overseeing market operations and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty. A minimum of 2 years clinical experience, with preference for candidates with prior Medical Director experience in a Medicare or Medicaid setting. Board eligibility is required; board certification is preferred. Current, active medical license in your state. Experience in population risk management and complex chronic disease care management is advantageous. Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 30% of the time. Why Join ChenMed?
