Currently, we are seeking a Clinical Director to own clinical quality, supervision, safety, and outcomes for New York operations while partnering tightly with Operations and Admin. Requirements Active, unrestricted New York State Psychologist license (Ph.D. or Psy.D.), held for 5+ years , in good standing (no prior or pending discipline).
5+ years post-licensure supervisory leadership experience in outpatient/group practice, including hiring, onboarding, supervision, coaching, and formal performance reviews.
Advanced knowledge of evidence-based practices.
Measurement-Based Care: an understanding of measurement-based care and how to effectively use in treatment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience building/enforcing policies/procedures/pathways; running chart audits and closing QA gaps.
Responsibilities Develop and enforce policies/procedures and evidence-based practices across in-person and telehealth settings.
Coach and manage therapists with elevated client churn using backend and real-time data; execute client retention and remediation plans.
Manage senior psychologists who provide clinical support/supervision to the broader team.
Manage administrative support staff to effectively support therapists and clients (front desk, scheduling, client support, follow-up).
Build an annual training calendar and promote continuous professional development.
Coordinate with psychiatry and care coordination.
Implement Measurement-Based Care (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) in the EHR; monitor outcome trends.
Build culture: create regular opportunities for therapists to connect (consult groups, case conferences, community events); reinforce a positive, collaborative workplace.
Lead clinical response to complaints.
Maintain a limited caseload of 5-10 clients
