Iron County is accepting applications for the position of Children's Justice Center (CJC) Director. This is an appointed/exempt position and will work under the guidance and direction of the Iron County Attorney and under the general directions of the State Advisory Board of Children's Justice.
JOB SUMMARY
Direct overall operations of the Iron County Children's Justice Center (CJC) to ensure compliance with state and local guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree in a closely related field AND three (3) or more years of Office Management or Business Management experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS Must possess and maintain valid Utah Driver's License. Must maintain compliance of Iron County Vehicle Policy - including maintaining an acceptable driving record. Attend any required training when needed and/or scheduled. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance of Iron County drug and alcohol policies and guidelines.

The Director must possess or be willing to gain considerable knowledge of the multi-disciplinary approach to child abuse prevention and prosecution and stay current with best practices for providing multi-disciplinary services to child victims of crime.
The Director should have a working knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping procedures and practices; basic office-related computer and technology skills; grant source and grant writing practices , state legislative processes; and Iron County policies and procedures.
