Overview Center Director position at BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care located in Highland (Syracuse), NY. You will work side-by-side with teachers, children, and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include center operations, staff recruitment and development, policy and procedures management, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and state licensing, as well as ensuring effective classroom objectives and parent communication. Key Responsibilities Manage the overall operation of the center including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and state licensing. Ensure that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom. Manage administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications. Understand and enforce all state regulations within the building. Implement and ensure completion of training for all staff members. Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
