Nursing Assistant

Reporting to the Nursing Director of the assigned area, the Nursing Assistant performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse and is responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred, Completion of nursing assistant certification upon hire

Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or current 2nd semester nursing student when hired or transferred into position

Current BLS certification

3 months skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred
