Job Description Category Management Director – Floral Supplies: Are you a strategic leader with a passion for product, sourcing, purchasing and seasonal trends? Join our fast-paced, creative team as Category Management Director and take ownership of our floral supplies portfolio including containers, tools, decorative elements, and more. You’ll lead a team of Category Managers and drive strategy across sourcing, purchasing, pricing, inventory planning, and supplier relationships to deliver quality, innovation, and profitability. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Quality to ensure product availability and trend-forward assortments that delight our customers. This position is based in our Sewell, NJ Location. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Category Managers Develop and execute category strategy based on market trends and customer insights Manage demand planning, inventory flow, and SKU performance Source globally, negotiate with suppliers, and drive margin improvements Align pricing with business goals and market dynamics Stay ahead of trends through trade shows, vendor visits, and competitive analysis Partner cross-functionally to bring new products to market and support promotions Benefits Opportunity to shape a key category in a creative, fast-moving business Work on seasonal product cycles that keep things exciting year-round Travel to trade shows and suppliers domestic and international Collaborate with passionate teams and bring beautiful products to life Work Environment This position operates in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. At times, the role will require trips to the warehouse and cooler environment (34 degrees), as well as visits to other locations. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position involves sitting for extended periods while working at a computer and using the phone. Some physical tasks may include transporting supplies, bending, or stooping to file. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Qualifications 5–7+ years in category management, sourcing, or supply chain leadership At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role Strong negotiation, planning, and supplier relationship experience Experience in floral or seasonal/wholesale product is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems and tech-savvy. Tableau a plus. A driven, flexible leader with a passion for trends, strategy, and results The posted range reflects the expected base salary for this position.
