Salary Range: $72,500.00 to $75,000.00 Annually
Wage: $72,500-$75,000/Annually
Summary of Position Functions:
Plans, directs and administers the Career Services Program which includes: Academic and Career Technical Training, Advanced Career Training, Occupational Career Training, Counseling, and the Career Preparation Period.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, directs and administers the Career Services Program.
Provides supervision, training, assessment, and leadership for assigned staff.
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Establishes the Career Services Program’s mission and strategic plan, objectives, goals; and evaluates program effectiveness.
Oversees the introductory phase in the program for new arrivals.
Acts as a trusted advisor to the Center Director and is a member of the senior leadership team.
Plans, organizes, and controls the use of overtime and on-call staff to ensure compliance with Center and ETR policy and procedures.
Demonstrates ability to analyze problems, identifies alternative solutions, assigns accountability and implements recommendations.
Demonstrates ability to apply principles of conflict resolution to resolve interpersonal problems that arise.
Strong analytical skills in evaluation of academic and vocational programs, policies, operations and systems.
Working knowledge of academic and vocational education programs, policies and practices.
Demonstrates knowledge of principles and practices of budget preparation and administration.
Working knowledge of principles and practices of organizations administration and personnel management.

Skills & Competencies:
Demonstrates knowledge of management practices and principles; proven ability to lead and support teams.
Working knowledge of the methods and practices of Job Corps administration or a similar program.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals and objectives.
Comprehensive knowledge of effective instructional strategies, classroom management and content field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment.
Proven ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budget.
Capacity to set and enforce accountability.
Proficient in the use of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite, Cost Point, Outlook, ADP, Citrix, and others)
Educational Requirements/Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in education, social services or a related field.
Three years’ related experience; one of which was in Management, and Director capacity.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
