About the Role Triten is seeking a dynamic, persuasive, highly connected Director of Capital Markets to drive capital formation and lead investor engagement across the platform. The Capital Markets Director reports will own and drive the capital formation strategies, investor relationship management, and execution across Triten’s national industrial multifamily real estate platform. This is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role that reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with senior leadership and regional Principals. You’ll play a key role in telling our story, crafting tailored capital solutions, and expanding Triten’s capital network. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in capital markets, investment management, or real estate private equity and must demonstrate the ability to both deepen existing institutional relationships and expand the firm's capital network. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role requiring equal parts relationship building, executional excellence, and strategic coordination. Key Responsibilities Capital Relationship Management Act as the main point of contact for Triten’s institutional capital partners. Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with equity sources, JV partners, and strategic investors. Monitor capital preferences related to return expectations, asset class, region, and transaction size. Collaborate with Principals to screen and prepare real estate opportunities (developments, IOS, acquisitions) for capital outreach. Provide capital markets feedback during weekly pipeline meetings on deal fit, expected yields, and investor appetite. Propose and vet capital groups for each deal and oversee initial investor communication. Investor Engagement Arrange and coordinate investor calls, prepare talking points, and lead or support investor discussions. Draft or refine capital materials such as investor decks and summary emails. Maintain a consistent communication loop with internal and external stakeholders during the capital raise process. Execution Support Track investor interest and follow-ups using Triten’s CRM (Monday.com). Take and archive call notes, ensure clear communication of next steps, and manage timelines. Coordinate involvement of CEO, COO, CIO, and Portfolio Managers as deals advance. Support LOI and term sheet processes in collaboration with executive leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with external equity brokers where needed and serve as a liaison between Triten and third-party capital advisors. Ensure alignment across the internal investment, development, and finance teams during execution. Required Skills/Abili ti es: Deep knowledge of institutional real estate capital markets, including JV structuring and equity sourcing. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; able to build trust and credibility with senior capital partners. High level of professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail. Strong organizational instincts with the ability to juggle multiple conversations and priorities High emotional intelligence and the ability to win trust and build rapport quickly Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM platforms such as Monday.com is preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple deal timelines simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in real estate capital markets, investment banking, private equity, or fund management. Demonstrated experience raising equity for commercial real estate transactions. Deep understanding of real estate financial metrics such as IRR, YOC, cap rates, and development risk/return profiles. Experience coordinating across development, acquisitions, and asset management functions is highly preferred.
