Salary Range: $145,000.00 - $217,400.00
The role is responsible for identifying and securing revenue to support Plexus's growth goals. This includes developing and executing plans to sell solutions aligned with Plexus's business development targets. The position entails meeting revenue goals for sector or regional accounts, utilizing professional sales techniques such as strategic selling. Focus will be on a targeted account base that fits the Plexus customer profile, applying effective time management to prioritize efforts.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Engage with cross-functional teams to increase the ability to win business and advocate for capability requirements needed to meet customer needs.
Identify and validate profitable business opportunities that align with Plexus strategy and customer criteria. Prospect, cold call, and maintain knowledge of current and potential customers, including products, markets, key personnel, funding, revenue, competition, and manufacturing strategies. Collaborate with market sector teams to identify risks and opportunities.
Build and develop relationships with external customers and internal teams, including manufacturing and engineering, to enhance customer relationships and understand Plexus' value chain.
Develop market sector knowledge to support business development efforts, stay current with industry trends, and support sector marketing strategies.
Collaborate on account strategies to win business, translating customer needs into deliverable solutions across the Product Realization Value Chain, ensuring solutions meet or exceed expectations and support Plexus' goals.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
Typically, 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or equivalent experience.
Other Qualifications:
Proactive problem-solving skills, objectivity, and the ability to make timely recommendations.
Influencing, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and leadership competencies.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Travel Requirements:
More than 40%
