ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Brand Director, you’ll work to deliver an exceptional experience for our clients — driving results through a deep understanding of marketing and a specialized expertise in direct mail. You’ll lead campaign strategy and execution, serve as a trusted client partner, and support the growth and development of your team.
This is a leadership role that blends strategic thinking, marketing execution, and people management. You’ll guide end-to-end planning and performance of direct mail programs, ensuring campaigns are measurable, data-driven, and aligned with broader brand objectives. Your success will be defined by communications excellence, ROI, and the long-term value we bring to client partnerships.
The ideal candidate is:
A strategic marketer who brings 8–12 years of experience managing clients, leading campaigns, and overseeing marketing programs
Experienced in direct mail as a marketing channel — from creative strategy through execution, testing, and performance analysis
Highly organized and data-minded , with the ability to analyze complex inputs and ensure the accuracy and quality of all campaign outputs through careful attention to detail
A strong communicator who builds client confidence and communicates ideas clearly and persuasively
Naturally organized and deadline-driven, able to manage multiple moving parts and client expectations with ease
A people leader who supports team growth, gives thoughtful feedback, and builds collaborative working relationships
Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Excel and Jira, with attention to detail and an eye on operational excellence
Curious and strategic, with a focus on delivering strong work that drives client success and long-term agency growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client & Relationship Management
Lead client relationships and work closely with internal teams to complete projects successfully.
Facilitate conversations with clients about campaign needs, goals, and the agency’s process.
Identify opportunities or challenges that open up new possibilities for the agency to explore with clients.
Build deeper client relationships and increase high-value touchpoints across the partnership.
Present ideas and solutions with clarity and confidence — both internally and externally — managing group dynamics and inspiring action.
Campaign Execution & Project Management
Oversee the end-to-end management of direct mail projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Gather and translate client input into actionable, insight-driven strategies.
Serve as the day-to-day lead for direct mail campaigns — from intake through briefing, production, deployment, and reporting — using established tools and workflows.
Input and track project specifics, creative briefs, and feedback in Jira.
Maintain high standards for accuracy, timelines, and deliverables — proactively identifying risks and correcting course when needed.
Mentor and support team members to build their understanding of client goals, products/services, industry context, and audience behavior.
Marketing & Brand Strategy
Write compelling creative briefs and project briefs that inspire strong work.
Apply critical thinking at project intake and deepen knowledge of each client’s business and audience.
Stay informed on relevant industry and client news that could impact or support the work.
Build and execute integrated marketing plans that align with broader business objectives.
Business Acumen & Internal Collaboration
Build staffing plans and scoping requirements for assigned clients and projects.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of agency capabilities and disciplines — from briefing through delivery — and represent past case studies and best practices when needed.
Uphold the client service charter in all interactions and support new business development efforts when required.
Team Leadership & People Development
Manage one or more direct reports.
Lead biweekly one-on-one meetings to celebrate wins, coach through challenges, and remove blockers.
Hold semi-annual performance conversations to support individual growth and development.
Requirements
8–12 years of marketing, project management, or client leadership experience
Proven success leading direct mail programs and integrated campaigns is required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated business and financial acumen
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with tools like Jira or similar project management platforms
A team-first mindset with a proactive, curious, and collaborative approach
