Were seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Director to lead our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Fields Memorial School in Bozrah, CT. As the Director, youll oversee the day-to-day operations of our Healthy Kids Program Site, ensuring everything runs smoothly and effectively.

POSITION TYPE: Part-Time, Non-Exempt HOURLY RATE: $17.00

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Ensuring Compliance: Uphold state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school guidelines across all aspects of the program.

Creating a Fun, Engaging Environment: Plan and lead exciting, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum think STEAM projects, arts and crafts, physical fitness, academic support, and structured homework time.

Operational Management: Oversee daily administrative functions, including accurate attendance tracking, registration monitoring, and ensuring the program is properly staffed.

Family Communication: Use the Playground App to maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and guardians.

Team Coordination: Stay in regular contact with your supervisor to share updates, address any concerns, and help maintain a collaborative, solution-focused workplace that supports high-quality care and a positive team culture.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To qualify as Director, one of the following educational backgrounds is required:

Option 1:

1 Year (540 hours) of experience

Bachelors Degree in a Related Field

12 Credit Hours in:

Child and Youth Development (3)

Program Administration (3)

Other SAC-Related Areas (6)

Option 2:

18 Months of experience

Bachelors Degree in an Unrelated Field

12 Credit Hours in:

Child and Youth Development (3)

Program Administration (3)

Other SAC-Related Areas (6)

Option 3:

2 Years of experience

Associates Degree or Two Years of College in a Related Field or Equivalent

12 Credit Hours in:

Program Administration (3)

QUALIFICATIONS: You're medically cleared and free of communicable illnesses, including TB.

You bring a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills great with kids, families, and coworkers alike.

You're dependable, professional, and punctual.

Physical activity is no problem youre comfortable bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and keeping up with energetic children throughout the day.
