SCHEDULE: Mon-Friday: 9-5 with some evening coverage
SUMMARY: Family Service League is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director who will assist the Program Director in providing the administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of an article 31 Mental Health clinic. Responsibilities include managing a large population with co-occurring disorders as part of fast-paced, high-volume clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and conducting supervisions and performance appraisals. Assist the Program Director in providing administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of the mental health clinic and to clinic staff, including integrated care satellites. Co-lead weekly team meetings and individual or group supervision to clinic staff and interns as needed. Act as backup for any clinic cases. Provide direct supervision to clinic supervisor. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure appropriate provision of medical services and storage of medications. Oversight of urine toxicology testing Monitor high risk population for appropriate clinical interventions. Assist in compliance with Agency and state initiatives including participation in the OMH initiative; quality management projects; review and tracking of statistics related to productivity and performance indicators as well as clinic-wide outcome measures. Review all referrals and coordination with priority referral sources. Coordinate an open access process for referrals. Coordinate with Information Technology staff to develop facility with the electronic health record and use of other technology tools and computer applications. Maintain licensure in a relevant clinical field. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree in Social Work or related field required. LMSW/LCSW preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience required. A minimum of 2 year’s prior Supervisory experience working in a MH Clinic Setting, including serving clients with co-occurring disorders. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required. Strong judgement and problem-solving skills required. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a constantly changing, fast paced environment. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records, required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
