As an Associate Medical Leadership Director, you will play a vital role in our rapidly expanding organization by directly supervising and training Clinical Directors in your assigned market. You'll be responsible for achieving performance objectives, managing P&L, and fostering a positive culture while balancing patient care duties as a Primary Care Physician. Key Responsibilities: Oversee clinical outcomes and daily management of Medical Directors across multiple centers. Ensure clinical operations meet earnings plans and performance targets. Mentor and coach Medical Directors to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes. Facilitate talent development among PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors, including leading shadowing and performance management initiatives. Cultivate a physician-centered culture aligned with ChenMed's core model and values. Assist in the training of new practitioners and participate in the recruiting process for clinical roles. Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, payers, and specialists, enhancing our local presence. Address workplace concerns promptly and monitor overall market culture. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monthly scorecard reviews. Provide direct patient care, spending approximately 20% of your time with patients. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent clinical skills and experience in managed care delivery systems. Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel locally and regionally up to 30% of the time. Fluent in spoken and written English. Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; 3 years preferred. Experience as a Medical Director with a focus on Medicare or Medicaid patient populations is strongly preferred. Current, active medical license in the state of employment.
