SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall clinical management of the practice and program assigned, including direct supervision of all providers (medical) and monitoring practice and on-site programs to meet organizational productivity goals, quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, and research initiatives. Description: Responsible for maintaining a clinical practice at the assigned site. The allocation of administrative and clinical time depends on the size and scope of programs at the site. Requirements: Direct supervision of all providers assigned to this practice as their primary site Perform bi-annual evaluations of specialist providers or other providers as assigned by the Medical Director, including annual competency evaluations Participate in monthly leadership management meetings Monitor monthly provider productivity, quality performance (peer review and clinical registries), practice site evaluations, and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, NCQA) as assigned by the medical director Assist in supervising clinical performance or research programs at these sites when appropriate Collaborate with nursing, social work, and administrative managers in hiring and evaluating staff, reviewing patient complaints and incidents, and participating in EOC rounds Communicate with regional medical directors regarding provider or staff needs Attend Clinical Directors Group (CDG) meetings Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care Be available to patients and staff Use scientific evidence and methods to evaluate and improve patient care Demonstrate acceptable use of best practice alerts, quality improvement initiatives, core measures, and evidence-based medicine Qualifications: Effective supervisory skills of clinicians Superior clinical skills Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, and conflict management skills Basic computer skills Ability to organize care and activities of multiple tasks simultaneously Previous supervisory experience preferred NY State Medical License Board admissible in the respective specialty Current BCLS certification Current DEA Certificate Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Full-time Job function Health Care Provider Industries Hospitals and Health Care This job posting is active. #J-18808-Ljbffr
