Overview The Associate Executive Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing is responsible for driving ACEP’s strategic initiatives in external communications, marketing, digital engagement, and brand management. This executive leadership role oversees and integrates ACEP’s efforts to enhance brand awareness, advance the specialty of emergency medicine, promote ACEP’s products/services to our members, and support our mission through communication and marketing efforts. Responsibilities Strategic leadership, organizational management, content strategy/development, digital engagement, public relations, crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, financial management, and team performance management. Qualifications 15 or more years’ experience in progressive leadership roles in communications and marketing, preferably related to association, healthcare, or professional organization environments. Expert knowledge in strategic communication, public relations, and integrated marketing content development/execution for national organizations. A proven track record in the development and implementation of strategic communication and marketing initiatives. Ability to travel (approx. 15 – 20%) for meetings, conferences, media events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
