The impact you will have in this role:
The IT FinSight Delivery department supports the development and testing needs of multiple DTCC core business units, including Financial Risk Management. The Portfolio Governance role is crucial in overseeing and guiding the management of financial portfolios. This role involves facilitating and coaching a cross-functional team in using the Scrum framework for software development within an Agile environment. The Portfolio Governance leader ensures that the team adheres to financial standard methodologies and principles, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for delivering high-quality financial analysis. In addition, the Associate Director of Program Management will focus on efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement, empowering the team to achieve success.
Your Primary Responsibilities: Oversee portfolio financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to ensure fiscal health
Align portfolio investments with strategic business objectives through close collaboration with stakeholders
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the portfolio
Prepare and deliver financial reports and insights to senior leadership and key partners
Drive continuous improvement by developing and refining portfolio governance processes
Foster strong cross-functional relationships with business managers, product teams, and finance to ensure transparency and alignment
Leverage tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Excel to analyze data, generate reports, and support strategic decision-making
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal compliance standards

Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success: Strong financial competence with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences
Proven stakeholder management capabilities with a focus on collaboration and expectation setting
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve financial challenges effectively
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, including Excel, and Power BI
Solid understanding of portfolio management and governance frameworks
Relevant experience in portfolio management, project management, or financial operations

The IT SIFMU Delivery Department supports core Clearing and Settlement application delivery for DTC, NSCC and FICC. The department also develops and supports Asset Services, Wealth Management & Insurance Services and Master Reference Data applications.
