Associate Director, Product Communications The Associate Director, Product Communications, will serve as a key member of Insmed's Corporate Communications team and a strategic partner to Insmed's marketing teams. This critical role will help drive communications strategy and execution around the launch of our late-stage candidate and a potential new indication for our approved medicine. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare or pharmaceutical communications, a track record of supporting successful launches, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that align with business objectives and elevate our presence across collaborators. This role reports to the Senior Director, Product Communications. The ideal candidate will live within commutable distance to our Bridgewater, NJ location. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Additional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: Support the development and implementation of integrated communications plans for the launch of Insmed's late-stage candidate and a potential new indication for its approved medicine, including patient- and HCP-facing disease awareness programs and integrated brand campaigns. Identify and prepare patient ambassadors to share their stories through earned media, digital content, and events. Complete media relations activities around clinical data, medical congresses, and regulatory achievements, including press material development, spokesperson prep, interview coordination, media monitoring, and reporting. Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Investor Relations, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Legal) to ensure cohesive messaging, strategic alignment, and compliant content. Serve as a trusted communications advisor on global teams, driving alignment across regions and functions. Contribute to issues preparedness and response efforts related to product communications. Integrate product achievements and news into corporate social media and digital content plans in partnership with the Corporate Communications team. Collaborate with Internal Communications to deliver timely, engaging updates to employees on product developments. Monitor media response and sentiment to optimize campaign messaging and ensure sensitivity to patient privacy and tone. Oversee agency activity and track associated budgets. Maintain strong knowledge of assigned brands, therapeutic areas, driven dynamics, and collaborator priorities to inform content and strategy. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree a plus. 8+ years of experience in healthcare communications, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Consistent record supporting product launches and disease awareness campaigns. Strong understanding of FDA regulations and the healthcare compliance environment. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Strategic problem solver with hands-on execution capability and strong attention to detail. Skill in simplifying complex data for different audiences. Demonstrated track record of patient-centered thinking.
