The Enterprise Data Organization is dedicated to leveraging S&P Global's vast data coverage to deliver innovative solutions across the Enterprise. Data Partnership sits at the intersection of business stakeholders and the Enterprise Data Organization, bridging the gap between client needs and data execution. We focus on delivering high-quality, purpose driven data to clients via data standardization and harmonization.
As a senior member of the team, you will be collaborating and focusing on bringing together various stakeholders to drive Data Strategy Initiatives for Credit Markets. You will work within the context of a cross-functional team aligned with Business stakeholder, Data Stewards, Operations Managers, Product and Technology.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Lead expert within the Enterprise Data Organization for Private Credit and broadly syndicated loans
- Manage continued execution of credit data harmonization processes. Identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies and errors. Monitor and improve data quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with dependent divisional products and teams and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, define data structures, and ensure alignment across different systems.
- Responsible for maintaining the system and dependent collateral, including defining data standards, creating controlled vocabularies, and establishing data governance policies.
- Ensure a consistent data governance framework by supporting the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $120 to $130. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data management, data harmonization, or a related field in financial markets
- Strong knowledge of the credit markets, particularly the structure of credits. You must be able to bridge the gap between credit markets and data management.
- Strong organizational management, business case development, and able to work across business teams to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communications with an aptitude to present thoughts and ideas to leadership
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, ETL, data visualization).
- Experience supporting customers and being involved in commercial conversations
- High level of expertise in MS Excel
