Key Role Responsibilities : Consult with HR, executive, and cross-functional stakeholders to convert business challenges into accurate analyses and insights. Design and automate analytics processes to deliver compelling insights at scale. Integrate and analyze complex datasets using diverse methods (e.g., survival analysis, machine learning, text analysis). Evaluate the impact of programs, decisions, and events on our company’s talent and reputation. Articulate data-driven narratives that vividly reflect key dynamics and resonate with stakeholders. Required Qualifications : Integrity: We’re uncompromising when it comes to doing what’s right and respecting employee data. Analytical mindset (e.g., fluency in metrics and statistics, visualization, survey methodology, data management, etc.). Desire to contribute: We’re a small team that has many opportunities to make significant contributions to our company’s important mission. Concise communication style, and an ability to simplify complex concepts. Efficiency, organization, and attention to impactful details. BA or BS degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years People/HR analytics, business analytics, industrial/organizational psychology, consulting, or similar experience. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Hybrid role: on-site at least three days per week in Foster City, California. Preferred Qualifications : Ability to proactively drive your projects while working collaboratively. Python, R, ThoughtSpot, AWS, Workday, and/or Tableau proficiency. Machine learning or other advanced statistics experience. People analytics, consulting, and/or human resources experience. The salary range for this position is: $210,375.00 - $272,250.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package.
