Job Description
Associate Director, PDM Team System Location: Foster City KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Director, Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing (PDM) Team System, PM Center of Excellence & Governance , and part of the larger PDM organization, the Associate Director, PDM Team System will work with PDM Project Strategy Leads to refine and implement PDM Team System tools, frameworks and processes that can be leveraged by PDM Product Teams. FOCUS AREA S Develop, maintain and iterate on PDM Team System tools & processes in support of the PDM Product Teams Ensure that tools work seamlessly with PDM product governance Ensure that tools support PDM Operations Management’s product portfolio dashboards and analytics Support stage gate framework and G.Plan (Planisware) templates Develop and maintain PDM Team System SharePoint site for repository of all PDM Product Team -related tools and frameworks Create strong working relationship with PDM Product Strategy Leads, identifying gaps and areas for improvement as well as continuous improvement QUALIFICATIONS: A degree in life sciences or a relevant business area with 10+ years of varied post-graduation experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biosciences or a related industry. Or MS with 8+ years of relevant experience. Or PhD with 6+ years of relevant experience. Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceuti cal/ biotech industry experience Experience serving as a Project Manager for CMC product strategy programs Experience creating tools and processes for cross-functional teams based on solicited feedback or identified gaps Keen problem-solving abilities Experience with continuous improvement of deliverables Self-directed and proactive with ability to manage diverse stakeholders , exercise good judgment and respond quickly and effectively to disparate feedback . Demonstrate s exceptional influencing skills without direct authority . Possesse s excellent oral communication skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates g ood presentation skills; P roactively p articipates in meetings . Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
