Overview Associate Director, Paid Social – Digitas North America. We are looking for an outstanding Associate Director, Paid Social with a passion for data & analytics, creative thinking, and developing innovative strategies, who loves social media. You will work across all social platforms to plan, implement, manage and optimize data-driven campaigns, and collaborate with the national Paid Social practice to track the market, evaluate opportunities, create training materials, and vet new social/messaging platforms and API partners (PMDs/FMPs). You’ll manage a team of direct reports executing clients’ paid social activities, while ensuring flawless execution and inspiring strategy. This role supports retail and B2B clients; experience in these verticals is preferred. Provide leadership and guidance as your team develops best-in-class paid social campaign strategies and tactics
Collaborate with Media Planning, Strategy, and Data & Analytics teams to align paid social with broader client needs
Build and maintain positive relationships with vendor reps, other agency teams, and clients to identify risks and opportunities
Develop, evolve, and evangelize paid social philosophy and best practices through data-supported measurement and testing
Ensure flawless execution of social campaigns, including ad creation, targeting, budget pacing, and inventory selection
Identify and pursue innovation opportunities to keep the agency and clients on the cutting edge
Support Data & Analytics in learning agendas/measurement plans based on client goals
Foster the development and growth of junior team members through training and feedback
Stay up-to-date on new ad products and technology, sharing opportunities with clients and the paid social capability
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 7-9 years of media experience, including at least two years of hands-on paid social experience and three years of supervisory experience
Strong understanding of paid social campaign development, execution, and optimization; retail and B2B experience is preferred
Experience managing large-scale paid social campaigns across platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, and emerging platforms)
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills; experience with cross-functional teams
Strong verbal and written communication
Effective leadership and delegation to keep deliverables on time and morale high
Positive attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and integrity
Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus for ideation, research, or content generation
Additional Information Compensation Range: $95,950 - $150,995 annually. This pay range is what the Company believes it will pay at the time of posting and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Temporary roles may be eligible for our freelancer/temporary medical plan and 401(k) eligibility; regular roles include medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and paid time off.
