Associate Director of Housing Operations

The Associate Director for Housing Operations is a critical position in the Department of Housing and Residence Life's central management team. Specifically, this position coordinates the delivery of services to students, parents, staff, faculty, and other University departments. This position is a 12-month, fulltime professional position in the Department of Housing and Residence Life. This position reports directly to the Director for Housing Operations.

The Associate Director serves as a member of the Department of Residence Life central office management team. This position oversees marketing and communications for housing and summer conferences. This position strategically develops an on-going plan to meet the occupancy targets for housing.

The Department of Housing and Residence Life at Tulane University provides housing, programming, and related services for approximately 4200 students who reside in traditional style and apartment style residence halls.

•Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills.

•Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience in housing operations management

OR

•High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 9 years of related experience in housing operations management

•Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, Business Administration, Management, or related field

•Experience working in a higher education setting

•Outcomes oriented planning.

•Experience developing marketing plans and communication streams for targeted audiences.

•Financial modeling experience related to occupancy management.
